Dear Diabetes, you suck.

So… my sugars have been higher than usual for sure, but exact analysis TBD. I pulled the data from my Dexcom yesterday and got it into a good analysis format… Need to format the date and time, but other than that it’s looking good. I don’t have the OmniPod cable with me, but I will update and pull that data when I get home. Also, I’ve read that there is a way to pull the data from the jawbone UP24 in a data format that could be analyzed… all this means is that with a bit of work I should be able to overlay my numbers, insulin administration, and activity levels — I’m excited to see what insights can be pulled from it, really starting in in the science project on myself. Bring it on. #Oorah #fuckdiabetes

  1. FYI Diasend has recently opened its website to more devices and allows you to download your Dexcom, Omnipod, and most brands of BG meters. It has only a few integrated reports, but it’s a start and pretty easy to use.

I am waiting for the day that all of my devices upload automatically the way my Fitbit does…

  2. Thanks! I’ll check it out — I love my Jawbone UP24, I would love it if my diabetes technology worked like that too 🙂
